WELCOME to our FAMILY website! We're a bunch of JESUS freaks... or maybe we're just freaky. We wouldn't have it any other way!
THE CLAN of Constant Cooker
This is my entire family, me (The Constant Cooker), "D" or we know him as daddy, Ree, "G" and "C". The background is one of many of the falls formed by the Tallulah River, found at the Tallulah Gorge which is located in none other than magnificent Tallulah Falls, Georgia.

WHY I HOMESCHOOLIt didn't happen by accident, that I should decide to be a stay at home mom, and homeschooler. It was a decision I made based on spiritual reasons. I don't ask anyone to agree with me. We all have our own reasons for doing things, and are mature enough to decide what we need to do to benefit our own well being, as well as that of our family and loved ones. God, my family and my political views ignite the reasoning behind my homeschooling. I feel God requires our best, and THAT is what I will give Him.
"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6 |
WHY I AM CONSTANTLY COOKINGI've been a say at home mom for nearly nine years. I've attempted to do other things, but found the struggles of being a working mom alongside being a wife, and an educator at best, overwhelming. I admit my limitations, and have nothing to prove, only to God and myself. I'm a WIFE and a mom, FIRST. I take care of my family as God has designed me to do. In order to be a stay at home mom, I keep children on the side for extra income. Not too many... I'm not entirely crazy! SO, I cook. I'm required to cook three meals a day, and that's what I do; AND, then some. I try to cook delicious, wholesome meals with fresh, "raw" ingredients. I also look for quick fix meals maintain their nutritious elements.

I also have a creative side....
CONSTANTLY CREATIVE
At my homeschool, I encourage my children to be the unique individuals that GOD intended them to be. Without cluttering their minds with what EVERYONE else is doing, they can focus on the things that inspire, encourage, and they enjoy most. My oldest daughter, 11 year old "REE", enjoys being creative through writing, creating her own websites, modest fashion (sewing), jewelry making, beading, soccer and of course, dance. My youngest daughter and youngest child, 5 year old "G", does those typical things a five year old does; dressup, helping mom do chores, doll and dramatic play, dancing and singing. "C", my nine year old son, typical boy that he is, enjoys JUDO, playing in the mud, fishing and hunting with his dad, creating all sorts of fun stuff out of play dough, LEGOs and drawing... did I say LEGOS? ME, well... I'm somewhere in the mix of things. Cooking, yes actually I enjoy cooking. I enjoy cooking most when I get to impress others with my skill; Throwing parties, or serving up hors d'oeuvres (or appetizers), sharing cake with family and friends. You know, that sort of thing. I also enjoy all the things my children enjoy. I sing at church, dance when I have the chance, create jewelry, sew, dress as modestly as I know how, fish and hunt with my family. I hope to share some of these wonderful creative adventures throughout my site, and blog! I must WARN YOU: Follow along carefully... because I sometimes get carried away with my wording!
